More Woodturning is a magazine for Turners who mostly turn wood. It is designed to provide guidance in woodturning techniques and to keep you informed as much as possible with what is happening in the woodturning craft; i.e., new equipment, new tools, new techniques, new projects, shows, places to sell, etc. Our purpose is to provide good information on technique, product reviews, information on new products, and general news of interest to woodturners. If you are a woodturner, an artist who turns wood, a collector who collects turned wooden objects or are simply interested in woodturning, we'll welcome YOU as a regular reader of our magazine. This Web Site is not the magazine. We are simply furnishing enough information, we hope, to encourage you to subscribe. More Woodturning is a 32 page magazine that is published 10 times a year, either by mail or as an electronic magazine via the internet. Your choice! How about subscribing today?
We've received a lot of good comments from readers. I have valued all of the good comments and listened to any negative comments. I have especially valued comments from professional writers who turn wood and write about woodturning. One such writer's comments, were: "Congratuations on the best-looking-ever issue (March, 1997) of More Woodturning. Seldom do we find as much usable information in a single brief publication! I especially liked the pieces about Sorby Eccentric Chuck and Sharpening Your Lathe Tools. Keep up the good work". Another writer, who is author of several significant woodturning books and a full time woodturner, paid us what I thought was the highest of compliments, he said, " I'm most impressed with More Woodturning. I do like the themed approach--really excellent and very readable--I wish I'd thought of the idea!"
